I started my DJ career in Yonkers, NY at the end of vinyl area and the beginning of CDs era. So it was a little though at first because I had to carry both vinyl creates and bags of Cds. I started my DJ career in Yonkers, NY at the end of vinyl area and the beginning of CDs era. So it was a little though at first because I had to carry both vinyl creates and bags of Cds. But because of my passion for music, I did not mind at all. A few years later I moved to New Jersey and met DJ Ray, DJ Alex, and DJ Ron. We all decided to put our talent together and form a DJ group. After a couple of meeting, DJ Ray suggested that we call ourselves “The Wise Guys”. As soon as I heard the name, I thought it was a perfect fit for us. However, I felt like something was missing; so I started to think how I could enhance the name. So, I told the guys let’s have each letter in the word “WISE” mean something. It literally took me about 3 minutes to have WISE become “World International Sound Explosion”. Right out of the gate the name W.I.S.E. Guys became well known in our towns and communities.

I started my professional DJ career back in 1990. That was when I first met DJ Ron during a house party I was playing. We introduced ourselves and became friend ever since. We started to DJ together at a local night club in Irvington called Paridizo. A few months later we relocated to a different place called Bon Appetit. We met DJ Je
I started my professional DJ career back in 1990. That was when I first met DJ Ron during a house party I was playing. We introduced ourselves and became friend ever since. We started to DJ together at a local night club in Irvington called Paridizo. A few months later we relocated to a different place called Bon Appetit. We met DJ Jean Doudou AKA Jinomix. Now a trio, we began to DJ as a group of friends. After a couple go gigs, we decided to create a formal group. We had a meeting, and after a couple suggestions of names for the group I came up up with the name Wise Guys. DJ Jinomix came up with a meaning for each letter in the word "WISE" which is "World International Sound Explosion". With no time we became one of the greatest DJ group in the State area and the rest was history. Throughout the years a couple of DJs were added to the group. Among them DJ Rudy who kept the name W.I.S.E. Guys alive.
